A new exhibition at A-quadraat
From 9 May to 4 July 2021, gallery and sculpture garden A-quadraat in Vorden is showing large sculptures, studies and drawings by Maïté Duval.
Maïté worked with gallery owners Ad and Ad Borest of A-quadraat for many years, so we are very happy and proud that they have made a special place for her work in their gallery and sculpture garden this summer. A-quadraat lies in the countryside near Vorden. Both the gallery and the garden show contemporary painting and sculpture by Dutch and international artists.
No fewer than seven large bronze sculptures by Maïté can be admired in the inner garden, among them Mélancholie, Arcade and Libre. Alongside them are seven smaller studies and three drawings and gouaches. We are also very grateful to Musea Zutphen for lending Maïté's last large sculpture, the impressive Inspiratie.
The gallery also shows work by other artists, such as the ceramics of Petra Wolf. The opening is on Sunday 9 May from 1pm to 5pm. The exhibition runs until 4 July and can be visited from Friday to Sunday between 1pm and 5pm, and by appointment.
