Geste Libre is back on the Frans Halslaan
Geste Libre, the beautiful sculpture Maïté made in 1996, is back on the Frans Halslaan in Zutphen. It was away for a while to be restored. Lime deposits, bird droppings and chewing gum have been removed. The old brick plinth had crumbled and has been replaced by solid Italian bluestone. Maïté chose the stone herself, shortly before she died.
