The archive of Maïté Duval and Thierry Rijkhart de Voogd at the Erfgoedcentrum Zutphen
Besides her artworks, Maïté also left an impressive archive about her own work and that of her husband Thierry Rijkhart de Voogd. That remarkable archive can now be studied at the Erfgoedcentrum Zutphen.
From the 1960s onwards, Maïté carefully kept track of which paintings and sculptures she and her husband made, where they exhibited and what the newspapers wrote about it. She left a wonderful archive with a great many photographs, video tapes, posters, letters and press cuttings. In consultation with her children, all of it has now been indexed and conserved by archivist Etienne van den Hombergh of the Erfgoedcentrum in Zutphen, for which we are very grateful.
